Keith Niederer

Keith is a recognized Industry Strategist with extensive experience in real estate, franchising, business acquisitions, management, risk management, training, recruiting and auctioneering.

Keith began his career in 1976 as an auctioneer for stock and station company Dalgety’s in the Waikato Region of New Zealand. 

Over the next decade Keith honed his craft before moving into real estate in 1987 when he joined Harvey’s and Eves Real Estate in Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand, as Auctioneer Marketing manager.

In 1992, Keith joined Challenge Realty in Auckland to ‘head up’ the auction team, and was responsible for training and conducting auctions across New Zealand. 

In 1995, Keith was appointed Auckland Regional Manager for Challenge Realty in conjunction with running the auction division.  

Keith Niederer has owned and operated his own business from 1998 to June 2008 in Helensville and Kumeu, in the North West of Auckland, New Zealand.

Keith was appointed General Manager for LJ Hooker New Zealand in 2008.  He was responsible for LJ Hooker and Harvey’s brands until October 2018. 

From 2018 to 2022 Keith has continued with his auction calling, and in assisting real estate business owners in an advisory role regarding business profitability, recruitment, training and business planning.
